Karen blogs about recipes that her dinosaur loved or hated, how she organizes her small apartment, life with an energetic but soulful Dinosaur, and her renewal of faith. This mommy is honest and down to earth as she deals with real life obstacles and how her family of three overcomes them with love. Dinosaur Reading Funny Farm
Reading is very important in our home. I read to Dinosaur as soon as I found out I was pregnant with him. I read him the classic children’s books, I read him my books, and read him magazine articles. I read to him when I brought him home and have never stopped. As an educator, I understand the importance of literacy and want to pass that on to my son. I want him to love to read and discover new worlds. Thankfully, Dinosaur loves books as much as I do and just like me he talks about the books he reads. He will tell stories about the books and pretend that the characters are real. I hope he holds on to that love of reading as he continues to grow.
