I’d like to introduce you to a fellow book blogger who I visit on a regular basis: Jenea from Books Live Forever. Books Live Forever is the place I go to find my next great YA book. Jenea has several features including book reviews, new and upcoming releases, “in my mailbox”, cover reveals, and much, much more! Please read on to learn more about my fabulous bloggy friend.
I’d like you to meet Jenea (the blogger behind Books Live Forever) and her daughter, Sierra – our Featured Guest Reviewers for this week. Jenea has been reading for the majority of her life. A few summers ago, she began to read more and started reading reviews for some of the books. She became fascinated to see what others thought and decided that maybe she could tell others about the books that she’s read too – and Books Live Forever was born! Jenea reads Young Adult books of all different genres. Please take a moment to visit Jenea at Books Live Forever and say hello!
Here’s what Jenea has to say about the importance of books and reading in her home:
I remember as a child my mother would read to me and I would read to her too. We had a wonderful library in our city. Our home growing up was always filled with books of all genres. My mother taught us that books open us to a world sometimes we couldn’t have ever imagined. My daughter and I both like to read, she even has her own library card and bag she takes with her to get more books. My son has started reading more and I couldn’t be happier. Reading teaches our children that imagination is a powerful thing.
Jenea and Sierra have chosen to review the middle grade book The Author Visit From the Black Lagoon by Mark Thaler. Click HERE to read their review. Thanks Jenea and Sierra! For more on Jenea and Sierra, please visit our Contributors page.
