I am thrilled to be able to turn the tables on my friend, Crystal Marcos, author of the two fabulous middle grade adventure books, BELLYACHE and HEADACHE and see how she does as guest book reviewer on our website. Please read on to learn more about Crystal and her fantastic books.
I’d like to introduce you to Crystal Marcos. Crystal lives on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington with her husband and their daughter Kaylee. Crystal shared with me that reading is important in her household because it expands imagination, increases vocabulary, and gives the family bonding time. She is also the author of two fabulous children’s adventure books, BELLYACHE: A Delicious Tale and HEADACHE: The Hair-Raising Sequel to BELLYACHE. SON SAYS: “This story is about a boy who gets eaten by a box and goes to this weird city called Maple Town that has people made out of candy.”
Here is my daughter’s summary of HEADACHE: The Hair-Raising Sequel to BELLYACHE:
“In this book, Angela and Joe – two Candonite children, accidentally end up following Peter and Lina home from Maple Town. But what they don’t know is that Goaltan and the Peblars also come back. Goaltan and the Peblars want to try and destroy Peter’s town.”
