About The Measured Mom by Anna:
My blog, The Measured Mom, provides free education resources to parents and classroom teachers. As a former teacher with a master’s degree in education, and now a parent of four little ones, I’ve learned a lot about how children learn best. I love to share book lists, learning ideas, and many free printables – including original emergent readers to use with kids who are just starting to read.
Here’s what Anna has to say about the importance of books and reading in her home:
I’ve read that the single greatest predictor for reading success is how much children are read to. I want my children to love books and reading because it opens up the world to them! Most importantly, I want them learn to read the Bible so that they grow in their love for Jesus. Anna and her daughter Miss E. chose to review the non-fiction title, If You Lived When There Was Slavery in America by Anne Kamma. Click HERE to read their review. Thanks Anna and Miss E.!
